Refund Policy
The short version
If a book is not what you expected, tell us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you. You do not have to justify it. Refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record.
1. Who processes refunds
Paddle.com is the merchant of record for every order and is the seller for the purposes of your purchase. Paddle issues the refund to your original payment method.
You can request a refund either:
- through Paddle's buyer support (the link is in your Paddle receipt), or
- by emailing us at support@solved-publications.com with your order reference — we will action it with Paddle.
2. The 14-day policy
We offer a refund on any order requested within 14 days of purchase. This applies to digital downloads, even though the file has already been delivered.
Your statutory right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content supplied immediately, that right ends once supply begins only if you gave express consent and acknowledged that you would lose it — the checkout collects that consent. We do not rely on that to refuse a refund. Our policy is the same 14 days regardless. If your local law gives you a longer period, your local law applies.
3. Faulty, corrupt or wrongly described files
If the file will not open, is the wrong file, or is materially different from its description:
- tell us, and we will send a replacement; or
- if a replacement does not fix it, we will refund you in full.
This applies at any time, not only within 14 days, and it is in addition to the 14-day policy.
4. What we will not refund
- a request made more than 14 days after purchase, unless the file is faulty or not as described (§3);
- an order that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, or made to obtain the file for redistribution;
- a copy that has been shared, resold or published in breach of the licence — the licence ends and no refund is due.
5. Chargebacks
If something is wrong, please contact us or Paddle before asking your bank to reverse the charge. A chargeback takes longer for you, costs both sides fees, and does not resolve the underlying problem any faster.
6. What happens to the licence
A refund ends your licence to the book. Delete the file and any copies you made. The stamped copy identifies the order it came from.
7. How long it takes
Once Paddle approves a refund, the money is returned to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer controls how quickly it appears — usually within 5–10 business days, longer for some methods and countries. Paddle's confirmation is the point at which we consider the refund made.
8. Bump items and bundles
If your order included more than one item, you may request a refund for any item; a partial refund leaves the rest of the order in force.
